Dear ICF Philippines Coaches,

Happy New Year!

I am delighted to present to you the new ICF Philippines website, coinciding with the global unveiling of the new ICF logo and branding.

The update of the website has been a long-time coming and I would like to thank the Public Relations Committee headed by chairperson TJ Nadres, and the team of Vina, Pat,Marge, Arvy for their hard work and commitment to finally make this happen.

As we start another year, I am optimistic that 2021 will be a year of recovery and new beginnings.

We continue to be indebted to the heroes who have emerged in this pandemic: our doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, medical frontliners who continue to fight the virus daily in the hospitals and take care of our friends and loved ones. There are blessings to be thankful for daily, even in the middle of uncertainties.

Here in ICF Philippines, I am grateful to the 2020-2021 officers and volunteer members who tirelessly and selflessly work on projects even in the midst of this health crisis, in order to make ICFP a better and more efficient organization for all the members.

Here are some of the committee accomplishments for the first six (6) months of the fiscal year: Membership Committee:-There are 87 members to date this January, with several still in the pipeline as the membership ladies (Dada, Jeng and Lea)  are on track to hit “The Road to 100 Members” goal very soon. This would be a milestone that ICF Philippines would be hitting for the first time. We also proud to have a total of thirty one (31) credentialed coaches as members.-Automating all the members’ database, which is crucial in this time of pandemic and for a better management of information and details in the future. At the same time, making sure that the data we collect is covered by Data Privacy Agreements.

Professional Development:-First ever original e-books of ICF Philippines lovingly made by the team of Ina, Jackie, Dennis, Kurly,-Always relevant and informative, up to date and fun learning sessions. There is always something new to look forward to, just like our first virtual Christmas party in November last year.

Community Relations:-Successfully launched and finished the first batch of teachers for the pro bono Gift of Coaching program last year

Public Relations:-Activated our Facebook page with regular postings of informative and motivational messages to drive membership and heighten its appeal-Redesign of the ICF Philippines website to attract more online traffic and ease of navigation for members and visitors

But wait, there’s more::

  1. The first “Virtual New Members Welcome Orientation” this February for our new and returning members
  2. “Coach Huddle”, a buddy system program for new member coaches slated to be launched sometime in March
  3. More pro-bono coaching opportunities coming soon both locally and internationally
  4. Ramping up of ICFP social media campaign and awareness program
  5. New and engaging topics in our “talk show style” learning sessions

I also want to thank all the members who have been actively attending our learning sessions and participating in the different activities. I hope you will continue to support ICFP.

I am looking forward to more exciting and worthwhile activities, more credentialed coaches with successful coaching practices, an always supportive community of members who embody the professionalism, excellence and ethical standards that the International Coaching Federation stands for.

Wishing you and your families a blessed New Year.
